Find the bike

Starting today in Milan it’s “Hunting the bike
Motomorphosis, together with 4 exceptional partners - Clear Channel, Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto, Eicma and La Triennale- give life to an unusual treasure hunt to promote road education.

Milan, July 19th 2016 - Starting today up till the 3rd of August forty bicycles BikeMi (Milan’s bike sharing), will be made available by Clear Channel who is in charge of the service since 2008, will animate the rides in the center of Milan with their bright colors and will feature in an unusual “Hunting the bike”.
Promoted by the non-profit association Motomorphosis, and supported by Clear Channel though BikeMi, Cittadellarte- Fondazione Pistoletto, Eicma and La Triennale, the “Hunting the bike” is intended to promote road safety in a fun way to involve the public, in this case the cyclists, who are amongst the most exposed to accidents.
The rules of the game are very simple: there will be 40 customized bikes around with the 4 partner’s logos (Motomorphosis, Cittadellarte- Fondazione Pistoletto, EICMA and La Triennale). Four bikes have to be found, each with a different logo, photographed and posted in a collage on Motomorphosis' Facebook page using the hashtag #GuardiAMOci.
The first 10 will have a chance to be invited at EICMA and participate at the VIP event that will be held on November 9th at the Triennale in Milan. On this occasion some Motoparade (Association emblem) painted by famous international artists will be auctioned and the proceeds will be used to support the Motomorphosis’ project and other non-profit organizations with which the association cooperates.
“The goal of Motomorphosis is to raise public awareness, specially in young people, to be more educated on sharing the road” says Andrea D.C. Ducati, President of the Association “To reach our goal we involve them in a fun way and do training in schools (thanks to a planned venture organized together with Lombardy Region that will start in Autumn) using art and creativity”.
With art and creativity Motomorphosis inaugurated its activities in 2016.
A Motoparade dedicated to the Association interpreted artistically by Armona and Michelangelo Pistoletto is now at La Triennale in Milan as part of the XXI International Triennale Exhibition and will be there up to August 22nd. This installation will also be auctioned during the November gala evening and the proceeds will be donated to Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto Onlus, for one or more scholarships for training projects in art, sustainable fashion and creativity.
